Experimental project aimed at creating healthcare products developed by designers and makers, creating new market potential aligned with the values of open and distributed production in the healthcare sector, which attracts significant public and private investment. FABCARE has been endorsed by Centro Medico Santagostino, Italy’s first network of specialist clinics designed and managed by a social venture capital company, which is trialling an economically sustainable and socially responsible healthcare model. It has been developed as part of the Distributed Design Market Platform (DDMP) project, funded by the Creative Europe Programme.
