Experimental project aimed at creating open source sanitary products developed by designers and makers, establishing a new potential market in line with the value of open production in the field of healthcare, a sector that consistently receives public and private funding. FABCARE has been endorsed by Centro Medico Santagostino, the first network of specialized clinics in Italy conceived and managed by a venture capital association, providing a healthcare model which is both economically sustainable and socially responsible. It has been developed within the Distributed Design Market Platform – DDMP project, finanziato dal Programma Creative Europe.
