An experimental project to encourage designers, makers and patients to collaborate with patients and their associations in order to co-design and prototype walking aids, transforming them into open source products to be distributed on digital platforms and produced in laboratories such as Fab Labs.
It has been developed in collaboration with Sanofi Italia and AIG – Associazione Italiana Glicogenosi (Italian Glycogen Storage Disease Association) as part of the Distributed Design Market Platform (DDMP) project, funded by the Creative Europe Programme with the aim of implementing the global Fab Lab network.
