Design Healthcare Innovation represents the work of a multidisciplinary team formed in academic circles and comprised of university professors, researchers and designers working within Politecnico di Milano's Design Department and Polifactory, makerspace and FabLab.
This website describes the research and design path developed by the team and applied into healthcare innovation, paying special attention to studying and optimizing solutions that see the patient's role as increasingly central and active within the innovation process. Research also looks into the analysis and mapping of emerging models regarding the ideation, production, and distribution of healthcare products and services, as well as exploring new design and digital fabrication processes.
